What does it take to build a stronger, fairer Indonesia together?

What does it take to build a stronger, fairer Indonesia together?

What if we dared to dream that everyone can drive innovation?

What could we achieve if people breaking free from limitations came together to co-create solutions?
Our Story
Change starts with a belief—the belief that anyone has the power to make a difference.
Across Indonesia, we’ve met people whose aspirations match the magnitude of their challenges. We've witnessed resilience in those who refuse to be defined by their circumstances. Take Dahlia from Pasaran Island, for instance—once feeling powerless, she found the courage to overcome limitations with the right support, demonstrating that change starts when people believe in themselves.
Founded in 2020 by GoTo Group, we carry the spirit of innovation as a way of doing. Real change doesn’t happen in isolation. It takes new ways of thinking, new solutions, and working together.
We listen, learn, and build—alongside changemakers, partners, and communities. By blending human potential, technology, and diverse ecosystems, we make change easier, faster, and more accessible.
Our Journey of
Co-Creation and Innovation

Born from Gojek’s vision to uplift communities, Yayasan Anak Bangsa Bisa took its first steps during the onset of COVID-19. We mobilized rapidly, launching relief programs for healthcare workers and daily earners.

In the same year, we looked beyond crisis response. Through the BersamaBISA Education Aid Program, we reimagined learning infrastructure and invested in young minds, shaping the next generation of changemakers.

After we saw gaps in our relief programs, The Rumah Oksigen Gotong Royong launched—a lifeline powered by over 50 partners and donors. It proved that when people come together, they can redefine impact delivery.

Resilience goes beyond survival—it’s about empowering communities. We launched Generasi GIGIH (in partnership with Kampus Merdeka) to train future tech talent and BersamaCERDAS to boost digital literacy in underserved communities.

We went further by creating the Catalyst Changemakers Ecosystem (CCE), supported by BAPPENAS, a platform where ideas are tested and turned into solutions in the Catalyst Changemakers Lab (CCLab).

Impact doesn’t happen in isolation. Through CCE, we turned co-creation into action. Changemakers joined forces to solve water-related challenges in Makassar, Lampung, and Semarang through solution implementation projects.

We also looked inward. Who are Indonesia’s changemakers? What fuels them? GoTo Impact Lab, in collaboration with the University of Indonesia, conducted a Changemakers Study to understand those who shape the future.

To unite the fragmented efforts of impact creation, we launched Changemaker Nusantara Day, a national movement where changemakers no longer work in silos, but as a collective force.

We stepped into our next evolution: GoTo Impact Foundation—an identity that aligns our work with climate resilience and digital transformation.

We built bridges between industries, launching the Mentor Fellowship, where experienced tech engineers mentor young talent, and the GoTo Career Certification, enabling professionals to thrive in a tech-driven economy.

We elevate co-creation. We collaborated with the Ministry of Tourism to apply circular economy principles—not just cleaning up waste, but transforming it into economic opportunity in Bali, Labuan Bajo, and Lake Toba.

Innovation doesn’t just belong in cities. This year, we expanded CCE to Belitung, Lombok Tengah, Magelang, and Malang—proving that sustainable livelihoods and community-driven solutions can emerge across Indonesia.

We realized that the best innovations might still be undiscovered. We launched The Open Ideas Challenge—a movement inviting youth to submit game-changing ideas for Indonesia’s most pressing problems.
How we work
We look beyond one-off fixes—building solutions that connect across sectors, and ensuring impact extends beyond a single problem.
Going beyond collaboration, we bring changemakers together with grassroots, national, and global networks to share ideas and build what’s needed—together.
Local voices shape every solution. We don’t impose; we co-design. This ensures solutions are relevant, inclusive, and sustainable.
We connect business, technology, culture, and new ways of thinking so changemakers can create stronger impact, at pace and built to last.
We go beyond traditional funding—invresting in human potential to seed experiments, shift mindsets, and focus on outcomes over outputs.
