Building Bridges in Tech through Mentor Fellowship
The gap between rapid technological advances and human users capabilities could be bridged by collaboration among tech professionals. Beyond the purpose of advancing their personal technical skills, their collaboration holds potential to create a positive impact for the society. Therefore, GIF’s Mentor Fellowship was created to connect more than 186 tech professionals—from software engineers to product managers—to share their expertise and join forces to shape the landscape of future tech talent in Indonesia.
One of the key visions of Mentor Fellowship is to nurture more career-ready tech talents through a series of mentorship programs. Before mentoring younger peers, our fellow mentors are also equipped with a set of learning to maximize their mentoring and facilitating skills. These mentors are then matched with to mentor mentees in Generasi GIGIH and other mentorship programs. After serving 5200 hours through mentorship, these mentors have inspired thousands of mentees—the next generation of tech leaders.
